Catfish, Carp, Zander and Blackbass are the most prolific species in the lake,with the local rivers providing more sport within 30 mins drive details available on arrival.Accommodation has been designed with anglers in mind.Although children are welcomed and non fishing partners ,the facilities are limited on this holiday.There are three types of accommodation ,two berth chalet,three berth caravan and a house sleeping up to six,all are 50 metres from the lake.There are ten boats for hire on a daily/weekly basis,ranging from 9.9hp up to 40hp The town of Caspe is approx. 4 km from our location to the lake and have all necessary supplies such as banks, supermarkets, 2 small tackleshops and many bars and restaurants.tenpin bowling
Fishing
The catfish were introduced ilegally at the beginning of 1970s by a German in Riba Roja, hence they have migrated through most of the Ebro system the catfish are fast growing and already have reached sizes in excess of 210lbs and in lengt over 250 meters. The best methods are large baits fished from an anchored boat, floated or ledgered, or from the shore with the large baits being located in the swims by boat. A manner which frequently produces success on the lake is fishing with very large rattle type crankbaits (hang on to your hats) aolso fishing with pellets brings an lot off succes, catshes from 10 ore more big cats a day are not unusual
Ouer guide had in 2007 in more than 150 fishing days only 5 days with no big Cats de best day was 31 cats in only 7 houres of fishing.
Carp The most prolific species found here,and in this area are an unknown quantity and size.We know of fish in excess of 50lbs. Boilies, pellet and particle baits apart from maize are virtually unused here yet, but we are finding through our own experiences,the larger fish are falling to these baits on standard bolt rigs For the angler who likes to bag up,basic waggler fishing with sweetcorn size 4-8 hooks can catch fish all day up to as big as your tackle can hold

Blackbass
The international championships are held here every year in late sept early oct.It features some of the worlds top bass anglers.The species we have in the lake are the large mouth bass which can grow up to 9lbs.These fish are only taken on lures fished from a boat.It is a species we do not have in Britain,so hey give it a go!!.If you are not an experienced boat handler,we give you tuition before you go out,including advice on tackle nd baits.
