The fishing we provide on the river Ebro system is amazing, there is no where else in the World you would be able to catch the size and amount of Catfish that you can in Spain.  This is because of the 14 years of experience and knowledge gained by Gert. We provide a very personal guiding service for anglers with group sizes normally to 4 anglers. Larger groups are catered for and two guides will be allocated whenever possible for your best results.

In Spain, fishing for Carp is allowed by law from one hour before sun rise until one hour after sun set. This does not reduce your catch as you would expect as the Carp in the Ebro rarely feed during the night because by doing so they alert the Catfish of their presence and they become the prey. We have caught Carp up to 30lb which have been attacked by the huge Catfish.

Catfish.    

The catfish were introduced ilegally at the beginning of 1970s by a German  in Me4quinenza, hence they have migrated through most of the Ebro system   the catfish are fast growing and already have reached sizes in excess of 210lbs and in lengt over 250 meters.  

The best methods are pellet fishing ore fishing with very large rattle type crankbaits,  clonking bring also cats in your boat. Fishing is allowed in Spain for Catfish from 06.00am to midnight, with two rods per person

Carp

Carp fishing on the River Ebro is superb. The Carp in the Ebro congregate in huge shoals providing excellent Carp fishing. The main shoal fish are in the 18lb to 36lb range with many 40lb + Carp caught by us and you are in with a chance of a 50lb Carp. The biggest confirmed capture to date is a Common of 54lb. The majority of the Carp in the river Ebro are big Common’s but there are some very beautiful Fully Scaled Mirrors. The fishing here is very different to the normal long stay fishing associated with catching big Carp. Here you can catch plenty of big Carp during the day, then return to your house to have  an evening out with your friends in the local bars and restaurants .

Zander.

 Time of the year in the colder monts can you catch numbers of zander. In the warm summer monts can it be dificult to catch zander in big numbers.,      

Carp fishing on the River Ebro is superb during the winter months November, februari and  marz when the fishing in  te rest from Europe extremely difficult is or even impossible because the water temperatures drop very low and the fish stop feeding. The Carp in the Ebro congregate in huge shoals during the winter period in deep water, providing excellent Carp fishing. The main  fish are  18lb to 36lb  Catfish is also posible but in smaller numbers.
